Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does your computer repair process work?
A: Upon check-in of your system, a $45 dollar evaluation fee is due. Your system is then evaluated and, once the issue is identified, we provide customers with a quote to correct their computer issues. Upon completion of repairs, the evaluation fee is applied toward the customer's balance due. If at any time we encounter issues that would incur additional charges than previously agreed upon, customers are notified in advance and given the option to continue the repair process.

Q: What payment options do you accept?
A: We accept checks, all major credit cards, and of course cash.

Q: What is the difference between custom built computers and production line computers?
( i.e. Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.)?

A: We build our custom computers using high quality name brand components which are selected based on extensive reviews, personal reviews and rigorous testing. This practice differs from the production line computers which are composed of lower-end components to keep costs low to maintain high profit margins for large manufacturers. When we build our computers the utmost attention to detail is key, along with thorough testing and optimization.

Q: What is better, console or pc gaming?
A: Both types of gaming platforms have their pros and cons. Consoles are by far the cheaper way to enjoy the most popular games, however consoles are restricted to the hardware that composes them, and limited to that configuration until the next generation console arrives. PC's can deliver amazing gaming graphics, they can be upgraded when newer components are introduced, and they can perform all the added benefits that computers offer. After all, without computers the gaming industry may not be what it is today!

Q: What is a good antivirus and is it worth the additional cost?
A: We use and recommend Norton antivirus for our customers, and yes, it is definitely worth the additional cost. With the amount of new viruses released each day the cost of Norton is minimal compared to the cost of experiencing a virus. A virus can destroy your operating system, corrupt your data, and bring your computer usage to a halt, which in turn can cost you much more money than the initial cost of the antivirus software.
